Kukoo ("we", "our", "us") operates the Kukoo food and grocery delivery platform, including the Kukoo mobile app, website, and Alexa skill. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Name, phone number, and password when you register.
  • Delivery information: Addresses you save for delivery.
  • Order information: Items ordered, order history, and payment details.
  • Location data: Latitude and longitude of your saved delivery addresses.
  • Voice data: When using the Kukoo Alexa skill, voice commands are processed by Amazon Alexa. We receive only the intent and slot values extracted by Alexa — we do not receive or store raw audio.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and deliver your orders.
  • To verify your identity and manage your account.
  • To send order status updates via SMS or push notification.
  • To improve our services.

4. Alexa Skill

The Kukoo Alexa skill allows you to place food and grocery orders using your voice. Account linking is required — your Kukoo account is connected to Alexa using OAuth 2.0. We receive your Bearer token and use it to authenticate API requests on your behalf. We do not store Alexa user IDs or voice recordings.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Delivery partners (name, phone, delivery address) to fulfil your order.
  • Vendors/restaurants (order details) to prepare your order.
  • Payment processors to handle transactions.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

8. Children

Kukoo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
